I am soooooooooo sorry to do this to you but we have had a lot of bookings for christmas this week which has prompted me to do the christmas menus!!!! If you do wish to book in for your office party or any other please dont leave it too late!!!

Hello to all,

Hello everyone....spring is sprung and brings me to look at April and whats coming up.....

Saturday 11th April - 3pm – Easter crafts, and egg hunt with the Easter Bunny!!!!
9pm – Adult Easter bonnet making, and easter draw, with band ‘3way’
Sunday 12th – Easter Carvery – book early to avoid disappointment followed by Bingo!
Friday 17th – Sid’s Karaoke
Well I think that there is enough there to keep everyone going...dont forget apart from this we are open for food every lunchtime and evening (apart from Sunday) and open for great ales, ciders and many other beverages mon-thurs 11-2.30 and 5.30-12.00 and fri, sat, sun all day....take care all and hope to see you all here soon xx

March....spring is sprung!!
Hello to all you followers of the Halsey!! Well how different does it feel to get up in the morning with the sun shining!!! I was so pleased to see the snowdrops and daffs coming out this week....so I thought I must get on to next month!!!! Below is our entertainment list for March...and as you can see it is a fun packed month!!! Lots of fundraising to do and plenty on to entertain you!!! Dont forget that this month we are starting our midweek carvery (on a wednesday lunchtime 12.00 onwards, please ring for bookings!!!! I hope you are all well and hope to see you soon!! Holly xxxxxx

Friday 13th - 7.30 onwards - Red Nose Day Party - Fancy dress - anything red!!!! Fun Quiz with all proceeds to Comic Relief
Sat 14th - 10am - Car treasure Hunt in aid of Buckland Newton School - ring to register your car...and win great prizes!! You could also have your car washed in the car park by Buckland Newton Nursery!!
Sat 14th - 9pm - John Ramon plays and sings!!
Sunday 15th - 8pm - ‘Music Night’
Friday 20th - 8pm - Sids Karaoke
Saturday 21st - The Crocus Walk - The Halsey will be open from 9.30 for tea and coffee, and the Carvery is open from 12.30. One course for £7.95, a pound of which will go to the Crocus Walk
Sunday 22nd - Mothers Day - Now taking bookings for the carvery, which will be followed by ‘State of Undress’ at 2.30pm
Saturday 28th - Quiz Night - with The Big Charity Quiz - quizzes are being played all over britain to raise money for charity!!!
Sunday 29th - 3pm - ‘Popeye and the Pixies’ - this young band featuring students of the Gryphon school have their debut at the Halsey...featuring very similar music to Headland...please come along and support them.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the snow...I have certainly seen some interesting looking snow sculptures this morning, and the children all seem to enjoy pelting each other with snow balls!!! Dont forget this weekend our second race night on friday night and Valentines day is rapidly approaching so I have attatched the valentines menu, please book early to avoid dissapointment.
