Bar Reopening!!

Hello!!!! it is with a sigh of relief that I openend the door this morning to my lovely builders who will spend their final week at the halsey arms. The bar is coming on lovely and I cant wait for the grand opening on saturday night at 7pm. It will be formal dress (if you want!!!) as I thought it may give everyone that went to Cats bday a chance to wear your lovely outfits again!!! It will be openend by the lovely Rev.Ron Hart, and will be an exciting evening where it will give me a chance to thank all my lovely loocals who have continued to support their local through the worlks. Jef and I really appreciate those of you who have continued to use the pub over the last weeks., we know that through bingo shhhh! and Rotary shh! and skittles shutup!!! it hasnt been the easiest but thankyou to you all who have laughed and shushed and drunk your way through it!!!!! Dont forget it is the return of Sids karaoke this friday and the final farewell to be shut up in the halsey restaurant bar so we hope to see you over the weekend!!!!!

Bwaaaaaaaack! Hey you crazy Halsey Supporters, it is the halsey chicken here to tell you about this amazing weekend!! The party starts Good Friday of course just because you're on holiday!! Saturday is Easter funday, the action starts at 2pm with our grand egg hunt then on to meet and greet the easter bunny at three where he will be helping you to make your easter bonnets and then to the parade at 5pm. Not to be missed out the adults will have their own bonnet competition in the evening where you can either bring your premade bonnet or you can make one with the arts and crafts provided. The whistle will go at 9pm where you will be given 30mins in which to make your bonnet....to be praded at 9.30pm!! There are limited places left at the carvery on easter sunday so book now if you havent already!!! There will be a vivit from meself over the weekend so keep your eyes peeled.........bwaaaaaaaaaaack!
